On-loan Manchester United striker, Mason Greenwood is set to make his debut for Getafe this weekend.
It will be his first appearance since leaving Old Trafford on loan.
Greenwood has not played a competitive game in 20 months following his arrest in January 2022 for attempted rape, controlling behaviour and assault.
United carried out an internal investigation after all charges against Greenwood were dropped in February this year, and after several months of deliberation, the club opted not to reintegrate the forward back into Erik ten Hag’s squad.
Greenwood will now restart his career in Spain after he joined LaLiga side Getafe on loan for the rest of the season in the final hour of the summer transfer window.
According to The Sun, Getafe are preparing for Greenwood to make his debut in their La Liga match against on Sunday as he has impressed in their training sessions during the international break.
